Kansas Fights Addiction Internship for High Schoolers
DCCCA is looking for high schoolers in Douglas County interested in a paid internship opportunity!
This is an 8-week, paid internship for high schools to gain hands-on experience in the field of behavioral health. Interns will explore various careers within the behavioral health field through research, informational interviews, and community involvement.
By the end of the program, interns will gain valuable skills to help them beyond high school including communication, organization, public speaking, problem-solving, and creativity.
Each intern will be expected to report to their internship supervisor 10 hours/week. Specific hours and schedules will be discussed further once interns have been selected.
