National Drug and Alcohol Fact Week is this month from March 18th – 24th. NDAFW is the annual health observance that inspires dialogue about the science of drug use and addiction among youth, and provides an opportunity to bring together students, educators, healthcare providers and community members to address youth and drug alcohol use in our communities.
This month look for new Engage Douglas County content with local media platforms The Lawrence Times and The Eudora Times! We’re promoting YEP! while raising awareness about the dangers of substance use like vaping and alcohol. Leave bad habits behind and make room for positive changes this year!
